French designer Patrick Nadeau has created this installation for the brand Boffi in Paris, London and Milan.
The domes are suspended from the ceiling and used to illuminate as display the underlying products Boffi.
designed as a rain forest, the project was carried out by hanging, at the Domes corian, of living plants.
The essence of choice for This installation was the Tillandsia usneoides because it has no need of soil, can be simply fixed to the dome and is nourished only by water and humidity.
Here are two data Botanical:
Tillandsia usneoides : native to south-eastern regions of North America, this epiphytic species has long sturdy stems, looking like moss, which lead leaves 5 cm long., linear, scaly and gray, forming hanging masses of vegetation. In summer produce (difficult in a vase) 1 cm wide flowers., Consisting of three petals yellow-green.
Light: display is very bright (especially for species with scaly leaves), with the exception of the direct rays of the sun.
Watering and humidity: watering at least once a day during the growing season (or two if it's hot) water if possible using lime, preferably rainwater in the winter is just enough to keep the soil moist.

Thanks to Dana for his contribution. What do you think?
I find that it would not hurt a lighting design carried out this way!
